Elizabeth Calhoun

Elizabeth Calhoun is a dedicated band member at Kilgore College with nearly a decade of experience in wind ensemble, and has a deep passion for music. Growing up just south of Houston, Elizabeth has consistently expanded her musical journey through active participation in small groups and, more recently, by joining a community orchestra for the spring of 2024.

Currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, she is dedicated to a future in children’s ministry. Her goal is to support and inspire young children through compassionate care and guidance, integrating her musical experiences into a broader commitment to nurturing and mentoring the next generation. Balancing her academic studies with a vibrant musical life, she is driven by a passion for making a positive impact on young lives.

To be able to collaborate together, and pull together some wonderful pieces of music will be an amazing opportunity for everyone. For some it will be a brand new experience, and for others it may be an older one. Whatever situation they are in, it’s going to be an amazing experience."
